About Us

Westgate Vineyard commenced on Sunday October 12th 2008 with a core group of nine people who came from Yarra Valley Vineyard Church in Lilydale, Victoria. Originally the church met in Yarraville, moving to Williamstown in October 2011. We are led by Peter and Kathy Downes along with a wider leadership team.

Key values of churches such as Westgate include things such as worship, care for those in need, equipping, authenticity, valuing the individual, and more.

Westgate Vineyard Church is...

• a church that anyone can go to
• informal in style, but earnest about God
• for all ages (including children's church every week)
• suitable for people interested but not sure about God, or for those who know God well
• a part of Vineyard Churches Australia www.vineyard.org.au

Westgate Vineyard Church meets in Williamstown, in the old Uniting Church building on Stevedore St. We are the only Vineyard church in the Western Suburbs and have a good relationship with other churches in Hobsons Bay.
